We are seeking Machinists and Apprentices to join our growing team at Pazmac. We have requirement for all areas of machining, including Turning, Milling, and Multi Axis Mill Turn.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up/Operate CNC machinery.
- Interpret and understand drawings and other furnished specifications
- Inspect parts to ensure conformance to specification and drawing tolerances
- Safely moving parts and materials with the use of overhead cranes
- Ensuring machines are maintained
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Comply with company safety and work policies
- Collaborate with other team members to solve technical issues and maintain production schedule
- Take pride in your work
Candidate Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion of related CNC Machinist training / academic program. Preference will be given to candidates with Interprovincial Red Seal or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 – 5 years working experience in a machine shop / manufacturing environment
- Ability to use measuring instruments and hand tools
- Proficient communication skills
- Attention to detail and acceptance of responsibility and accountability.
- Confidence and ability to work independently AND as a team member to support our goals and culture
- Willingness to learn procedures and processes to support and maintain safety, product quality, and on-time deliver
- Both day shift and Afternoon shifts are available
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Pazmac will give consideration to Apprentices and candidates with accreditation in other industrial applications

Salary:
Pazmac offers a competitive salary / total compensation package. Base salary is dependent on experience and fit. A shift premium is paid for afternoon shifts, and weekend shifts.
Hours:
Pazmac currently operates two shifts with rotation of employees.
Dayshift is 6:00 am – 4:00 Mon-Thurs.
Afternoon shift is 3:45 pm to 1:45 am Mon – Thurs. An attractive shift premium is paid for afternoon shift.
